I Italian oil consumption in the month of January 2011 amounted to approximately 5.5 million tons , with an increase of 0.5% (+29,000 tonnes) compared to the same month of 2010. I prodotti autotrazione, con un giorno di consegna in più, hanno rilevato le seguenti dinamiche: la benzina nel complesso ha mostrato un calo del 3,9% (-28.000 tonnellate) rispetto a gennaio 2010 mentre il gasolio autotrazione una crescita del 3,8% (+68.000 tonnellate).
La domanda totale di carburanti (benzina + gasolio) nel mese di gennaio è così risultata pari a circa 2,6 milioni di tonnellate, con un incremento dell’ 1,6% (+40,000 tonnes) compared to the same month of 2010. The

As I wrote above, I disagree. Dl in January 2010 had been consumed 5.7 million tonnes compared with 5.5 last month, then consumption has decreased by about 3.6%, 0.5% have not increased as indicated by the statement press. We can check the website of the Ministry of Economic Development is downloading some data on consumption of petroleum products processed by the Department of Energy.
