The Imperia GP roadster's engine is based on a technology developed exclusively for this vehicle. Imperia offers unlimited travel passes at a time when the internal combustion engine when the batteries are empty the stored energy. In hybrid mode, the batteries can be recharged while the vehicle is in motion. During a journey, the driver may decide at any time, via a selector, choose the type of propulsion: electric or hybrid. Using another control, the driver decides whether it will use the battery completely until completely discharged (to charge up the power supply once it reaches the destination), or to maintain a reserve to use when entering traffic.
